Before The Game

n the parking lot, before the game, it is crucial to have a good dialogue with your partner. If it is a new partner, you need to have a detailed pregame, covering as many situations and coverages as possible. It doesn’t matter which mechanics system umpires use (FED, NCAA, or pro), as long as both umpires know which system the other is going to use when the game starts.
