just finished a USSSA tournament. My boss called it the Last Chance Qualifier. It was a select group of select teams, with only five in the 13u bracket. I told the park manager that the field of teams was small because the better teams had already qualified and the worse teams had already proved they likely didn’t deserve to qualify. He didn’t think that was funny.
