The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry are a win away from another Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League championship.
In a wild Game 4 that included five ejections, the Dry dropped the Kentville Wildcats 9-3 Thursday night at Memorial Park to take a 3-1 stranglehold on the best-of-seven series.
Game 5 goes tonight at Beazley Field.
Dartmouth's Jamie Vallis and Kentville's Tim Clayton were engaged in a pitchers' duel Thursday with the Dry holding a slim 3-1 lead after seven innings.
Dartmouth, which had 14 hits on the night, busted the game open by scoring six runs in the top of the eighth.
But the game was marred by the ejections.
Wildcat players Clayton, Ryan Pearl and Mike Lockhart were all tossed. Vallis, who had a two-hitter through seven innings, and veteran Joel Irvine were the Dry players ejected.
