t was already August (winter was but a month away - grin), and I had worked only four games. After my inauspicious debut in July, where I forgot both rules and mechanics, I forced myself to get better. But my games continued to be "interesting." While I didn't make anymore gaffs, I was a target in two of my games. In one game alone I was hit seven times. Seven! That was a theme that continued through the summer and made me thankful for good gear!
