o far, I have booted rules and positioning. And I felt completely out of place as my summer progressed. But as I entered the playoffs in the NSSBL, our top adult men’s league, I still figured I could pull it together. I also had one advantage here that I didn’t in Medicine Hat: my reputation.
As many of you know, being "known" can help you. The vice-versa is also true. Around here, it helps me, for I am regarded as one of the top umpires in the province. But this year, that is one title I didn't deserve.
