Your worst nightmare is...

et’s say the completion of your sentence is: "The worst nightmare for any umpire is the batting out of order appeal." You’re absolutely terrified that someday, someone is going to come up to you and claim that the other team has a batter out of order. And you won’t have a clue how to handle it.

The thing is, once you identify your weakness, you can work to solve it. And believe me, we all have at least one weakness. You could poll 20-year, veteran Major League umpires, and even they would admit they have weaknesses.
