s Saturday evening wore on, the temperature dropped, the wind did not abate, and my displeasure with a pay envelope of [ridiculous low amount] dollars weighed heavily on my conscience. Not my mind, I think, since I was making the calls seemingly without protest from the large contingent of fans. That's in itself was surprising. Saturday night a mile from Mexico has plenty of events and places to choose from.

Visiting team Hanna Eagles (though it is their home field) is playing the Home team Porter Cowboys. Now in Texas, you must understand that the Cowboys are a big deal. Thank goodness this happened on 1 December, long before Tony Romo went gallivanting to a birthday party on the left-hand coast with Jessica Simpson. So there were people present who would be happy if Porter’s Cowboys came out on top.

Now you’ll remember we were going to use the International Tie Breaker (my version) to find a winner if it was still tied going into the ninth.
