Plays at second
This is the paradigm for batter interference:
Play 1: R1 stealing. B1 swings and his momentum carries him out of the box and in front of the plate. F2's throw flies into center field. Ruling: B1 is out, and R1 returns. [Contact is not required.]
The argument will be that the interference was not intentional. You will agree to that. You will still call out B1. [He was out of the box and in the throwing lane.]
