e don't need to listen in any further, for the topic is the second-most popular subject at any officials' gathering, "Is that a balk?" being the first. Any non-umpire who showed up would think that ejection is the number one pastime of baseball officials.

This is Part I of a three-part series on ejections as a part of the main topic called Game Management. There will be an occasional war story, no doubt; those of you familiar with my articles can vouch for that. But mainly we're going to look at the "Injection Process"; i.e., why keep a troublemaker in the game? Once that's decided, how can I do it?
